Away

I had to spend a week away from Ryne because I went out to D.C. Ryne came to pick me up from the airport yesterday. I was so happy to see him. It felt like it had been forever, but yet it didn't seem like we hadn't missed a beat. It didn't seem like we had been apart. I don't know if that makes any sense but to me it does.

So I act even more lovey to cheer him up. It seems like it goes on a week rotation.

Thanksgiving Day

Wedding

This afternoon I when to Stacie's cousin wedding. It took about 25 minutes, just how long a wedding should be. Short and sweet. It wasn't too bad. I am getting ready to student teach. I had to meet with the Princpal at the Pella High school because I do my first placement. My second placement is at North Mahaska in the elementary. As the nation approaches the final countdown to Christmas, new research rings alarm bells over the financial impact of Christmas in credit crunch Britain. The research from the new money saving website Savebuckets.com reveals that as Brits prepare for Christmas, many are still paying off last year’s festive spending.

With 41 per cent of Britons paying for Christmas on credit last year, almost one in five are still paying for last year’s festivities (17%), fewer than one in three having cleared their Christmas debts when their January credit card bill arrived (29%).

Refereeing For Money

Last week of school!!

More Rain This Week

This week it has been raining almost every day. Hopefully we will be able to play our baseball games Thursday and Friday. They are our last games at home for the year. The Cardinals Rough Start

Conference So Far

Crazy Crazy Week

This week has been crazy. I got back from Spring Break on Sunday and moved on Monday and Tuesday. Also, I have had baseball games on Wednesday and Thursday. Haven't really had time to unpack. I have some homework I need to get done also. So I will be busy this weekend.

Just got home

Well earlier today, I got back from Florida. I was in Florida playing baseball during Spring Break. It was nice down there and we played pretty well. We went 9-3, not a bad start. I got a little sun burnt and I don't want to go to class tomorrow.

They did it!!

Well they did it, the men's basketball team won the conference tournament and are going to Nationals. This is the first time they have made it this far, so that is pretty cool. Well in two days I leave for Florida.

Almost Spring Break

Spring Break is almost here and I can't wait. I will be spending Spring Break in Florida playing baseball. We play quite a few games in that week. last regular season home basketball games

Today is the final home basketball game's of the regular season for William Penn. The boys team has all ready clinched at least a tie for the conference, but with a win today they will win it out right. Arm Feels Better

I've had shoulder problems since my freshmen year of college. My arm pops no stop when I throw a baseball. I have played through the pain the last two years and it has been getting better I think. Coach Knight, Anyone Better?

Bob Knight always finds a way to beat teams, no matter how high they are ranked. He is probably the best at preparing his teams to play. Last night his Red Raiders beat Texas A&M. More Snow Snow

When will it stop snowing this year? Well it has snowed again here and this time there is quite a bit of it. We got probably about 5 inches worth of snow. It was pretty bad out walking to classes today. Most of the local high schools were cancelled, but I still had class. The wind was brutal, it was in my face and made my eyes water.

College Baseball 07

My girlfriend bought me MVP 07 for Playstation 2. It is a college baseball game and it is pretty cool. This year's game is different from last year's game because of the way you pitch. You use the analog to throw instead of the "x" button. Also there are more teams in this year's game. I started a dynasty and I am Hawaii. I chose them because it was someone different and I get to play different teams.

Classes Too Long

I just got done with my last class of the day. Man was classes boring today!! My last class I thought we where going to work on our presentations for Tuesday, but no we sat an listened to the teacher lecture for the whole class time. I don't like Tuesday's and Thursday's classes anyway because they are an hour and fifteen minutes long. Least I only have two classes on those days.

Today was very nice because I got to sleep in until 10:30 a.m. this morning. Usually I am up either before six for practice or eight for class. I didn't have my nine o'clock class today, so I got to sleep in. It was wonderful and I wish I could sleep in more often.

Just got back from weights. We do circuit training for baseball. Circuit training is where you have different lifting stations and you do that lifting exercise for a specific time. It gets challenging towards the end because you are exhausted. It is a good workout though.

One more football game

Last night was the Super Bowl. It was not a very good game, anyway I didn't think it was. There was a lot of turnovers and missed opportunities. The Colts won and they should have won, they out played the Bears. Well one more football game of the year next Saturday, the Pro Bowl.
